Factors before consuming the ZZ

 

Sophie's skin smelled similar to rotten meat or exposed human cancer. The smell filled the meeting room. She scratches continuously until her skin bleeds. Blood is always present at the back of her neck because of the irritation and scratching.

Sophie has suffered constantly. She never smiles and, it appears, has very little interest in life. Her eyes are dull and her checks drawn. When she was told that in a few days she would never have to scratch again, her expression was dull as though she had no belief at all that things were going to change. Sophie disclosed that many doctors had tried different medicines but now she had had enough of these trials which often made her feel worse so she had very little interest in this trial with the ZZ. She took some convincing by friends and family to proceed.

 

25th September 2013

 

Sophie allowed herself to be photographed every day during the trial, which started at 3.00 pm on Wednesday 25th September, 2013. Sophie consumed 15g of ZZ powder. She was unable to consume the extra 5g for an initial dose. Her throat was so narrow she had a lot of trouble swallowing.

 

26th September 2013

 

Today Sophie consumed 13g. Her outward appearance had changed considerably. The smiles were left, right and centre. Her eyes were much wider and brighter and her energy levels where much higher. Sophie’s speech was faster and louder and more audible.

She explained with a smile that she was late for our appointment because she had chased a chicken around her grass hut and caught and killed it herself for dinner tonight.  She was very happy as she never had the energy to do that for herself before. When she had plucked the chicken and packed it away from the rats she took a while to find someone to look after her child while she kept her appointment.

When Sophie entered the meeting room the smell of dead meat or open cancer was hardly noticeable today.

 

Sophie's comments:

• Less scratching (halved)

• More energy

• Slept right through the night.

She mentioned that when she woke her skin under her chin and on the front part of her throat was sore but now there was no pain. Her skin felt a little softer but only slightly.

 

27th, 28th  and  29th September 2013 - Sophie did not show up.

 

30th September 2013

 

Showed up 1 hour late - 13gs

Sophie mentioned there was a big difference in her skin inside her thighs. Although scratching had declined a lot, when she did get the urge to scratch it was a much stronger urge than ever before and she would scratch hard but then as fast as the urge came over her  to scratch it would disappear.

Continued on 13g. Coverage of body with psoriasis now is well under 50%

 

8th October 2013

 

Sophie’s hands are showing signs that circulation is coming to the top of the skin.

15g zz daily until 19th October.

 

20th October 2013

 

Sophie is now 85%-90% clear of psoriasis but her skin looks like a very old woman’s after being covered with the hideous ailment of Psoriasis since birth. Team ZZ is continuing to assist Sophie with skin care and diet intake to try to resurrect her skin, which will assist with her future social life. Sophie has pretty much been imprisoned by this ailment and had very little social activity for her entire life.
